• I was educated and trained as an interior designer and architect; however, after spending 15 years as a corporate designer, I arrived at the revelation that sitting behind a desk for hours on end, clicking a mouse, left me drained of all creative inspiration.

I still had a passion for design, but I desperately wanted a way to create and share in ways that felt more enjoyable and purposeful to me. Sooo…in 2020, after a layoff and at the height of the pandemic and in the middle of a divorce, I launched an art business (read about that here).

    I mean, why not?!

Through painting, I am able to express the nuanced emotions and stories we all share as humans. My architectural background and my faith inspire me to share ideas of transparency, layering, and space with watercolor, while innately pursuing the inexhaustible beauty of His sovereignty. I love working with watercolor because it’s alot like life - sometimes you have to surrender control of the thing in order to fully understand its beauty.

My work has been collected across the United States by homeowners, interior designers, architects, and resides in a few corporate collections. I even have a wallcovering line inspired by my art - check it out here!

From the beginning of my journey to this moment, watercolor offers a calming and reflective way for me to express myself.

I am honored to share my work with you.
