Soft, hazy and lovely - all of the feelings I typically associate with spring. An abstract expression of the poetic song, “You Must Believe in Spring”, written by Michel Legrand and Jacques Demy in 1967. I heard this song while studying in a collage bookstore and fell in love.
Moments from the song lyrics are handwritten in cursive white ink within each painting. Original watercolor + mixed media on archival watercolor paper framed in simple white frames without glass. Painting varnished and UV sealed (framing not necessary), ready to hang. Dimensions: 13” x 13” x 2”. Is quite lovely with “Believe in Spring No. 1 & No. 2”.
